Slate was so readily available as a local resource that in Corris, it is used as stock fencing. 30.03.26.
‘Little Italy’ is a model village near Corris, built over decades by local resident Mark Bourne. 30.03.26.
1864 was a good year for steam power. The same year that the test tunnels were being drilled over at Corris, construction on the Barmouth Bridge began. 31.03.26
